Abstract:

The need for new and alternate sources of energy is increasing day by day.The requirement for the electricity and the demand for the supply of bioenergy is also increasing ahead. The present world energyreservoirs will expire in near future and the world is going to face a serious problem of energy scarcity after 100 years. The recent severe energy crisis has forced the world to develop new and alternative methods of power and electricity generationto overcome the problem of energyscarcity. The study has been done on Energy sources and different energy sources for the electricity production and bioenergy generation. This study also includes different non-conventional energy sources and comparison between them, fuel cells and their applications.

Key Words: Biopower, Methods, Nonconventional energy sources.
